There are three types of
devotion people
1. Satvik
2. RAJASIK
3. Tamasik
When our idol of whom we are
fans, appears, we meet him, we buy tickets at exorbitant price and express our
devotion.
We collect souvenirs like props
and donate to keep possessions of such souvenirs.
What we get by keeping such
souvenirs, literally nothing but for the amusement of neighbours and next
generations that so and so was a fan of such and such fellow. And people would
comment “evaru pichhi walla anandam”.
The comments may hurt, yet look
at the souvenirs may give happiness, RAJASIK BHAKTI. Nothing tangible comes
here by such devotion. In the moment of stress, the idol may not even help
except for showing some sympathy.
Some mletcha ganikas (in modern
parlance they are stars) throw away their shirt’s, garments etc, and people
fans in ecstasy madly scramble for it.
Some may even auction
undergarments, and fans buy them, with most dirtiest being sold at highest
price, tamasik devotion what it gives, dirt sins and unhealthy mindset and
diseases.
But every type of devotion
keeps souvenirs and according to type it gives results. But all intangible and
harmful.
In Satvik fan following, RAYARU,
asked for a specific shila to be used as his BRINDAVAN. When asked the
significance, he said during RAMAYANA when RAMA was under vanvasa, when he came
to KISHKINDHA, (i.e. Karnataka) he sat on that stone Shila for two minutes. The
stone which had the privilege of seating LORD RAAMA, was dear to his greatest
FAN RAYARU.
In this brindavana, there are
SEVEN humdred SHALIGRAMA, (divya shaligrama as RAYARU might have chosen them), and
then it was poured with soil and udaka of all the sacred places and rivers, and
then above all it has RAYARU seated in it still alive.
Now when a soil from this is
taken and kept in a pouch, it’s a satvik souvenir Of RAYARU. Unlike rajasik and
tamasik souvenirs, this has touch of RAAMA, it has the good fortune of
composite of dust over shaligrama (700) and teertha kshetra of entire BHARATH. And
above all it comes from the hands of RAYARU.
This is known as mrittika.
What is its significance?
When RAYARU gave a mrittika
from his shoucha, it killed a Bramha rakshaasa relieving the family of frequent
mishaps of early child deaths. And it gave new lease of life to the new born
child, outside whose house a Brahmin with this mrittika was sleeping. The Brahmin
though not educated learned or possessed of excellent skills (in todays
parlance, a graduate without plush job or previous experience or hopes of
landing a well salaried assignment) got the good fortune of marrying a rich
girl from a well to do lineage.
If mrittika of RAYARU just out
of washroom can do so much wonders, then mrittika from RAYARU in deep
meditation and intermixed with shaligrama soil and sacred places soil like Kashi,
Prayaag, Udupi, Tirupati, wet with ganga, Saraswati, Naramada, Kaveri, Godavari,
Tungabhadra etc, and emanating from shila which had the touch RAAMA,
Unimaginable and at least I am
not capable of describing the mahima if this mrittika.
This RAYARU MRITTIKA,
Appanacharya says
This cures all diseases, this
brings immense fortunes, it gives results that one would get by visiting all
the sacred places of INDIA put together. This gives the results as got from
bathing in all rivers at a time. This gives result of all the rituals all the
pooja japa homa as 700 shaligrama.
And again, such a result is
100% natrasanshaya, without doubt going to come to the holder of mrittika, and
LORD HAYAGREEVA is sakshi to it.
Immense is the mahima of rayaru
mrittika.
